Nanda and Associates: Making the Right Moves for Growth
Moving into a new office is exciting, especially when it’s bigger and can support the growth of your business. To accommodate their expanding team, Nanda and Associates decided to move into a bigger office and called Source to furnish the space.
Nanda and Associates is a law firm based in Mississauga, Ontario. Their team of lawyers guide clients through various areas of law including family, immigration, personal injury, real estate, and more.
We worked closely with Nanda and Associates’ architects to find the best pieces that would fulfill the floor plan they mapped out. Using office furniture and accessories from brands like Tayco, Performance Furnishings, and Safco, we created a stylish and functional office that sets the stage for future success.
Working with Architects and Designers
Although space planning is a complimentary service when you work with Source, some projects, like office expansions, renovations, and new offices, involve architects and designers. They oversee the entire process, and we work closely with them to furnish office spaces according to their floor plan. We’re often brought in when a layout has already been established and it’s up to us to suggest the best office furniture options based on configuration, size, and design. That’s exactly what we did with Nanda and Associates’ new office.
Private Offices Designed for Lawyers
We had 25 private offices to furnish for this project. Since these offices were being used by lawyers, we wanted to make they had sufficient space and storage for the computer equipment and paperwork required for their cases.
To maximize desk space, we chose a u-shape configuration. The Enhance L-Shape Height-Adjustable Table was the perfect choice for adding ergonomics to the workspace, allowing the lawyers to sit or stand while they work. The back portion of the U-shape configuration is made up of the Classic Straight Desk, a hutch with glass doors, a locking multi-storage unit, and a wardrobe cabinet to house workwear. With so much storage within reach, it’s easier to stay tidy and organized. To top it off, we installed Hawk Dual Monitor Arms and a desk-top power module to make the space more ergonomically friendly and functional.
Making Every Workspace Count
We were also tasked with creating 45 workstations for Nanda and Associates’ team. Although it was an open work environment, we wanted to create privacy to reduce noise and add visual separation in hopes of achieving productive and efficient workspaces. To do that, we used the Switch Panel System by Tayco. Switch’s 2-inch panels are some of the most streamlined and low-profile designs in the industry. We love using them for cubicles because they take up very little floor space, which helps us make room for more workstations.
We furnished each workstation with height-adjustable standing desks from Tayco to provide comfort and ergonomics for every team member. We paired each desk with Tayco lateral filing cabinets for storage that’s durable and secure. We also added accessories, like monitor arms and desk-top power modules. Together, these office furniture products and accessories create a functional and productive place where employees can be at their best every day.
